The Artist-
Aaron Cooper(Ren)

Born and raised in Camden, NJ, Aaron Cooper is a self-taught artist that has found solace and inspiration in the city around him. Balancing the demands of being a single father, a dedicated firefighter, and an educator, he discovered a passion for painting with acrylics as a form of self-expression and reflection through a conversation with his teenage son during the pandemic. His art captures the energy and resilience of all aspects of the African Diaspora, often depicting its culture, people, and stories. Through his work, he aims to inspire others and create a dialogue about community, empathy, and the human experience. His journey as an artist reflects his unwavering commitment to his community and the diverse roles he plays in shaping it.
